Another Strike?

http://www.voanews.com/english/2007-11-10-voa29.cfm
*panicky*

Will this extend LM's run, by any chance? I know last time Bway went on strike it was right before the original production closed (and I know this because I was going to see LM on Bway for the first time the week of the strike, and I didn't find out about it until I had already taken the eight-hour car trip to New Jersey...) How ironic that the next time I try to plan a trip to see LM before it closes, Bway strikes AGAIN. If the show doesn't come back by Christmas, I WILL be traumatized. I swear. We're currently planning to go the week before the show closes.

They can't extend; another show is coming into the Broadhurst very soon after Les Miz closes.

D'you have any thoughts on when the strike will end? I know people are saying it probably won't last more than a few weeks, but my friend and I just got tickets for Jan. 3rd, and it would suck to take a ten-ish hour train trip all the way to the City just to get autographs via a picketline AGAIN.

No, but I highly doubt it'll last that long. The last one was three days, and hopefully they learned from that.

Yeah, I think we're counting in days not weeks here.

unfortunately my trip was counted in days and not weeks as well...

Haha, believe it or not, when I first heard about the strike, I was like, "But Trevor was going this weekend!" Gosh, I spend too much time on this forum...
Trevor reincarnate

OMG that's what I thought too! Hahaha.
Quique

You're taking it so well, Trevor. lol.

I'd be a mess.
Trevor reincarnate

Oh trust me. I was a mess. Just ask my mom's phone bill.
