Broadway Revival Cast - Any Info Yet?

I apologize if this has already been posted...for some reason I couldn't find it. I was just wondering if there had been any stirrings or announcements about the Broadway Revival Cast yet? Even though I doubt I'll have any chance at seeing it, I'm dying to see who they decide to cast in it.
Ulla Dance Again!

Hmm... I'm sure that either Playbill.com or BroadwayWorld.com would have some information about this. I'm kind of interested, too.
The Very Angry Woman

The only confirmed cast member is Norm Lewis.

They're still in callbacks for other roles. No one else has yet announced anything, although apparently Gary Beach has casually told people he'll be returning to the role of Thnardier.
Ulla Dance Again!

Really? I hope he takes it... I'd love to see him as Thenardier. Very Happy

Well, I have heard some rumors about who is playing, or may be playing, Fantine and who is playing Eponine, but I am not sure I want to name names until it is official.

What's stopping you? It's already been thrown out there.

Your right, that is the rumor I read, Eden Espinosa being offered Fantine and Lea Michele (interesting, having a Lea who's last name is not Salonga playing Eponine) as Eponine. Eden, I know, is currently in "Wicked" and Lea is a former Les Mis kid. I hope they are good, if these rumors are true.

Goody, an "I'm gonna belt 'I Dreamed A Dream' really loud" kind of casting. Rolling Eyes
Mademoiselle Lanoire

I'm not familiar with her (Espinoza). What does she sound like?

She's on that. Try not to gouge your ears out with a rusty trowel at the general awfulness of the music.
Alternatively, she's in 'Wicked' on Broadway at the moment, so on youtube, there's probably a good few clips labelled. "OMG!!!1! Eeden is amayzing BUT NOT AS GOOD AS IDEENA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1!Smile!" or similar, try searching for her name. Wink

She doesn't seem exceptional, but she doesn't seem as bad as you suggest. Though that audio quality isn't too great, so that might be skewing my opinion.

Aaron Lazar is strongly rumored to be Enjolras.

Again, unconfirmed but highly likely.

I don't think she's bad, but I think she's wrong for Fantine. From what I've seen she's too 'belty', 'pop-ish' and, I'm not sure if she's a good enough actress for Fantine. Perhaps she'll suprise me though if the rumours are true. Very Happy

I watched a video of Eden in "Wicked" that was on youtube. She is a good belter, as people have been saying, no doubt. I am not sure how good she would be in the softer moments(like the finale) as Fantine. We'll just have to wait and see how Eden is as Fantine, if the rumor is true.
