I've heard a lot of good versions of OMO, and a lot of bad renditions. That was possibly the worst singing I've heard in my entire life. Period. | ||

This thread could be linked to the "character study of Eponine", as it really shows how teen girls can consider themselves as "modern Eponines" without having a clue of who she really is!
The way she sings the song (which is very bad on purpose for the show) is completely disconnected with the character of Eponine. |

Speaking of OMO... I'm becoming strangely obsessed with the song lately. It's always been a favorite song of mine, especially when I was in my Eppie-bopper stage, but I'm now becoming really centered on the idea of stealing my sister's camera and taping a version of me doing the song and acting the role in a true Eponine fashion. I'm not the world's greatest actress or singer though, I just want to portray Eponine as she is in the book. If I post it on youtube, you guys have to promise not to laugh at me though... | ||

She actually has some potential. Her tone is mediocre HS level OK but her technique and expression sucks. I can only hope that the direction of the show was for her to try to be BAD! |
