Current cuts on the broadway production of Les Miserables

I am aware that there have been some cutting of the musical since 1997, and I am wondering what they are. I am unable to go to the show at all, if ever, because I live in isolated old New Zealand.
I'm just curious as to what songs have been cut from Les Miserables all together, or even shortened. I went on a Google Groups where I found out that Everyday and Turning were both cut from the show. Turning I won't miss, even though I like that song, and Everyday is a very strange song to cut IMHO. Thank you for your help! Smile

The thing is, so many little bits and pieces have been cut, it's very difficult to list them all in detail. Every person whom has attempted to list them all has always failed to inculde everything that was cut or end-up saying something that wasn't cut, was cut.

I don't know exactly where you got your info from but "Turning" and "Every Day" are still in the show.

Why does EVERYONE base EVERYTHING on the school editions or the friggen 10th anniversary concert!!! Grrrr!!!! lol.

Nah, I'm messin', but it does get irritating sometimes. Wink

But they're shorter.

"Every Day" actually was cut for about a week. Then it came back.

Yes, shorter but still in there.

I challenge anyone to make a complete listing of all current cuts, hehe. Twisted Evil

There was one, at least of the original cuts on the first night, but I can't find it. A friend posted it on her blog but has since moved to another domain and didn't renew the first one, and the Google cache doesn't reveal anything.

Someone posted a 'complete' libretto with all the cuts in bold. I recall it being incredibly off. I've been wanting to do one, though, I don't want to have to type the entire libretto out.

I remember a foreign site that contained librettos for many musicals. Do you know which one I'm talking about? I've lost the address and it would be cool if I could just copy and paste it from there. Any help would be appreciated.

Hayden Tee is from New Zealand! Very Happy

Are all the cuts in the US tour and coming up in Broadway exactly the same as the cuts in London?

In the US tour, yes. No one has yet said if the revival on Broadway will feature the cuts or not.

It would be great if at least some of the cuts would be put back in for the revival, but I don't think it will happen. They probably still do not want to pay the orchestra overtime.
