Frances ruffelle?

So I have been most curious, does anyone know where Frances Ruffelle went to learn how to sing the way she does? Like what College or Conservatory? Anyone?
The Very Angry Woman

She went to her mother's school, the Sylvia Young Theatre School. But I don't believe she graduated.

I heard that they came to an agreement that it wasn't working for either of them and she left. I'm fairly sure, although I can't remember what the source was, that Frances Ruffelle considers herself to be the only person expelled from the school.

Thanks guys. I appreciate it.

I'm amused that they mention she got pregnant and then left Les Miz to concentrate on her new family. They don't mention that the father of her child was not her husband at the time -- and was actually someone else's husband. Oops!
Quique

lol.

Wasn't she with John Caird for some time?

After 'Children of Eden' and before she returned in 1997. Their daughter Eliza Caird has been in 'Les Mis' as young Cosette (and the London production of 'The Secret Garden'.)
Quique

I knew that. But thanks.

I know everything. Twisted Evil

Les Mis related, anyway. :S

Sorry, forgot who I was talking to.

It's probably because you've been away for so long. Wink

How old are her kids anyway? Didn't she have one in 1995 or something? Rolling Eyes

She had two children with John Caird, Eliza and Nathaniel and a third, in 1995 called Felix.

Eliza is 18, as said in the above, presumably the youngest is 11.
Quique

^ OK, that I didn't know.

I thought she only had one with him.

Nathaniel should be around 13 - saw him (outside the Palace Theatre) in August 1996 and he seemed to be 3 years old at the time.

Ah! Damn! Does anyone know when Frances played at Ronnie Scott's, London? I've been there about five times, and I love the place - I go often during the holidays. But it was closed for a while for refurbishment. My friends and I were planning to go in the next few weeks.

Can anyone help me with this? Just that if it was a couple of years ago, I wouldn't be hitting myself for missing her: I'd kill to see her in Ronnie's.

Yes; I read that somewhere also.

She did one in early 2005 as well. I can't believe I didn't know she did one in June. At least I've got half the live CD to console me, lol. (You can see the back of my head in the video btw LOL!
