Gavroche thread

that was hilarious! All the gavroche bashing threads are fine but a pro gavroche anti-marius thread is locked.
Aimee

You are more than welcome to start a thread about liking Gavroche and not liking Marius. Please make it polite.
Mademoiselle Lanoire

I don't know why saying "XYZ sucks" should be too much for the members of the site, really. (Unless it's directed towards another poster, but that's a bit of a different story.)

I think it was locked because the member's previous posts signaled that he/she is a troll.

It did seem like a troll to me. Also people were whining about the mods not locking a trolling thread over at the Misc. forum earlier, so maybe it was locked quickly because of that. And now people are complaining about the opposite, lol.

Poor mods, can't win either way, lol. Laughing

You hit the nail on the head, as usual.

Well I just realized I did a community theatre show with one of the boys now playing Gavroche on Broadway, Jacob Levine. Normally Gavroche would be my favorite character but because this boy attempted to strangle me my sympathy at his death is limited. Could anyone who saw him in it tell me how he was, I'm probably not going to get a chance to see him in it.

Gavroche.

And to answer your question, he's apparently fantastic. My friend, who has seen possibly over 30 Gavroches in her Les Miz-viewing lifetime and tends to have the same taste in performers that I do, said he was one of the best she's ever seen.

Whoops... I'm not surprised he's good,he was only in the ensemble when I was in Fiddler with him but he managed to really shine anyway. I just wish he had been a little less hyperactive. He's a talented kid but in terms of behavior a director's nightmare.
