HELLLP!!!!!!

Hi, im fifteen , around 5'3 and im auditioning for les mis soon. I am thinking that i want to audition for Fantine, the only this i am apprehensive about is how young i am, its a production for high school kids though so i'm not sure if it really matters. but in any case, my range is alto to mezzo, although i can also sing soprano. umm i guess about an F below middle c to a high b..maybe to a high c on a good day. lol but i really need a good audition song, and i was wondering if anyone knew of any, also , if you think i should audition for fantine or perhaps one of the other roles? thanks!!
Ep-Griz-Reno

Well Fantine's lowest note should be around an f flat or a g, and cosette's highest is around a c...so it seems as if as long as you worked on it, you've got all the characters in your RANGE-because Eponine and Thenardier are in between there... Umm...In my eyes I think Ep, fantine, and madame then. all should be belted...EPONINE AND FANTINE AT LEAST...I mean HEL-LO...Fantine wouldn't look nearly as strong if she didn't belt...the thing is-she has to be weak-but she needs to TRY to be strong-and "I dreamed a Dream" is a MILLION times more powerful if it's belted ((I'm not saying ALL of it should be belted-the beginning-no no...but the end-yes))...Eponine is in the same boat...her and Fantine pretty much have emotional breakdowns in their songs and like I said the belting adds the impact...it's pretty much impossible and ridiculous to belt cosette obviously-so...moving on...lol...I have Madame Thenardier UN-BLETED, and the thing is-she definetly can be as long as the character voice is apparent...the thing about belting that role is that it adds to her annoying-ness...because it's not like TALENT-BELTING (and that is NOT to say that people that get that role ARENT talented)...it's more screechyyyyyyy and that helps set that EVIL VIBE for her....so, I mean...it depends on how well of a belter/character role person you are...and what do you WANT to do? Do you WANT to be all funny? Or romantic? Or belty? I mean...there's a lot of variables.

Good luck by the way!

If you need anymore help, feel free to let me know. =)
