Hey, citoyens? Barricade day? Anybody?

Let the People wake up. I thought at 0.01 am today this topic would start...

How are you celebrating?
Fantine

By doing an exam?
Not really the best thing to do to celebrate it though...
Quique

I'm barricading myself in my place and firing silly string to anyone who dare invade my space!!

I usually play the oboe solo over and over and over again on this day. Wink
Moci

I'm celebrated out. Eponine Day yesterday was far more important and has left me too mentally and physically drained for such trifles. I am hoarse from belting 'On My Own' like an Eppiebopper all day, worn out from cleaning the remains of my vocal chords off the wall I was facing when I sang and weak from the feeling of bulletshot wounds (think stigmata, but with darling Eppie).

Yeah, exams and stuff... Smile

I wear red and black today and am hearing Ld like to have a costume, but I haven't yet. I will make me an Enjy costume, perhaps...

Tomorrow I'm going to a theme park... give me a minute on how to make it correspond to the fall of the barricades...

Dayum, I shoulda rebelled today by refusing to do any chores! Argh, I'm gonna go unempty the trash!

Hahahahahahah! Laughing

I'm probably just going to wear red and black. I know. But tomorrow, I'll probably do something more festive. I do have a lovely sash that I made a few years ago and wore it last barricades day when I saw the revival.

I got some odd looks. xD
Catherine

I'm going to Les Mis on Sautrday. I'll celebrate then.
Fantine

On second thought... I'm going to dress myself in the Red Flag. And nothing more.

I would say "Too late, someone already did Enjolras/Flag fanart," but she took it down. Alas.

I might put up some comparisons of the various English translations of the book, but this week is incredibly hectic and I might not have time.
Tenalto

I haven't missed it? Thanks heavens. I'll be working some of the Red & Black in my ensemble for the day, humming assorted songs at work while dealing with various bankruptcies (les miserables!), insisting my friend call me Euphrasie... maybe... well, not the last one. I don't know. We'll see.
