Les Mis: School Edition Doco

Hey there,

This is a video of a student made documentary for our production of Les Mis. It sorta gives snippets of the show, and an overview of everyone involved.

I'm the guy playing Jean Valjean, and would love to know what you guys think about the voices, costumes, set, etc etc.

Cheers,

Rory

It was going great until Marius said "Les Miserab-lays" and the French revolution... Neutral

Seriously, though, the costumes, especially at the wedding, are lovely! And I do like the set. It looks like you had a lot of fun!

Also, you're the one playing Valjean?

You're very attractive.

Haha, please forgive our New Zealand and Australian accents.

Thank you very much, and yes we definitely had a lot of fun. We are actually finding it incredibly hard to leave the show behind and move on.

Yep, Im playing Valjean

Ulla Dance Again!

The costumes were very impressive. That's one of the first things I notice about a production, especially Les Miserables. I especially loved the Thenardier's Wedding outfits. Also, the "Lovely Ladies".

Overall, it was a rather cute (and entertaining) behind the scenes look, and all of you sounded great (from what I could hear/see).

Hey,

Thanks for all your comments, it's really interesting to see what other people have to think.

The guy playing Gavroche is 13, so he is about 2 or 3 years younger than most people in the show.

The guy lip syncing to On My Own at the end is Sam who played Marius. Sam and I are also the two guys doing the voiceovers.

Hope you have a great time doing the show, which I'm sure you will

Your production looks so great! And I totally know what you mean about finding it hard to move on after the show-I did Les Mis in the summer (I played Fantine) And it was such an amazing experience-I wish we would have thought to do a documentary!
