LES MIS TICKETS

I'm buying tickets for Les Mis before it closes, and I need to know where the best seats are....it's at the Broadhurst Theatre....

Which seats should I buy?
Orestes Fasting

The Broadhurst is a fairly small theater and there are almost no bad seats--except the last four or five rows of the orchestra section, where the view is obstructed by the mezz overhang, and the ass-back of the mezzanine.

If you like to be obscenely close, go for it; the stage is low enough that you don't have to crane your neck in front row. You'll lose the nice panoramic view, but it's amazing being up there in the thick of things.

Otherwise, mid orchestra or front mezz are really nice and not too far back. Buy what you feel like; all the non-crappy seats are priced the same.

When I saw the show I was in the absolute back-ass row of the mezzanine, and, compared to most other theatres, they were great seats. 'Course, closest I've ever been for any show is the middle-ass row of the mezzanine, so I may not be the best person to ask about these things.

When I saw it I was in the front mezz... you couldn't beat it. It was close enough to see the actor's facial expressions and yet you still got the whole panoramic view of the stage.

I'm as blind as a bat, even with my contact lenses, but I could still see clear facial expressions in row M. As Orestes said, the Broadhurst is a really intimate theatre, so anything from row A-M is awesome. I was surprised at how small and up-close I was, because not even my local theatre has rows that close to the stage. It makes the show really come to life! Smile I wouldn't get anything beyond row M or the first two mezz rows, though. GL and have fun!

I saw Les Mis from the 2nd row and 6th row right orchestra seats and from the 1st row up in the mezz. All 3 of them were great seats. I liked the closer ones though because I forgot my glasses when I was up in the mezz and really couldn't see their faces all that clearly. But then again I'm kinda blind without my glasses. LoL
