Les Miserables Revival On Broadway...

Rumor has it Les Miserables is coming back to the Big Apple....is this true??

That would be shocking. The last revival just closed less than a year ago.

Yeah. It's true. I can't wait for Dick Clark's annual special, ringing in 2005!

As long as we're moving premieres back in time instead of forward, I have a few requests:

I would like the premiere of "Company" moved to 1998 so that Steve Barton could have played Bobby.

The upcoming film production of Jesus Christ Superstar will be rescheduled for 1980, for the benefit of stars Freddie Mercury, Marvin Gaye and Isaac Hayes.

"The Addams Family," scheduled to open in 2010, will instead open in 1985, when Raul Julia was in prime health.

Finally, "Shrek" will be revived in 1935, starring W.C. Fields and Al Jolson as Shrek and Donkey.

As much as I would like to have another revival, I can't see it really happening anytime soon.
