*Jumps up and down*

OMG!!!! Yay!!!

I'm soooo happy. Very Happy

Now, it will be easier on my bank account to see the show later on instead of by the Spring. I was praying it would extend since money is tight right now.

Thanks for this!!

I'm not really surprised but I was just afraid I'd have to go sooner than expected. You know how I am? I worry too much, lol. Nice that it's finally confirmed.

Very Happy Applause Very Happy

Wow, that made my day!!!!!!!!! It looks like I didn't need to book tickets this December after all, but who cares!!!!!!! (and a ? to make TVAW happy). Well done les Mis!!!!!!!!!! Mr. Green
Moci

And Uncle Cameron hasn't planned it from the beginning. Wink

This interested me, "A replacement for Rubin-Vega will be announced after January 1." They make it sound as if it's going to be someone worth announcing, which could be interesting, given some of the names being thrown about on BroadwayWorld.

Anyone know when we'll find out if the cast will be extending too?

Edit: I can't spell
Aimee

Is this face surpised enough?

Jordan

May I give you a previously used face? -

Dang, that's an eerie resemblance to a relative of mine. If you lived in New York, I'd ask if you were the same person.
Jordan

Nope, I look like a 25 year younger version of Oscar wining actor Julian Fellowes. Cool

I am happy about it. Actually, I am a little surprised since the revival has gotten a cold reception from some people at BWW. As for who will be the Fantine replacement, I am hoping the rumor that a well known former Eponine is in talks to play Fantine is true.

Can you count on both hands shows which have gotten a warm reception on BWW?

Lea Salonga! Holy Crap!

Oh. My. God. This better be true because then I MUST MUST MUST see this! Oh. My. God. OH MY GOD!!!!!!

The fact the run is extended made my Christmas. If it IS Lea Salonga that would make my Christmas and New Year for the next several hundred years (and of course I wouldn't get to see her either, knowing my luck.) But still. Holy. Crap.

Isn't Lea Salonga a little young to play Fantine?
Mademoiselle Lanoire

How so? She's in her thirties.

Not at all. Fantine was 18 or 19 when she had Cosette.

Question: Where did this rumor come from? Words can't describe how much I yearn for this to be true. However, all of our initial reactions aside, I think we should wait for more confirmation of this. We don't want to get all excited over nothing.

From someone called "winthrop92" on BWW.

I know that. Has anyone else heard this, or are we just trusting Winthrop92?

I'm hedging my bets on the latter.
Quique

I'm not celebrating until it's confirmed.

She would make a great Fantine.
