Michael Kostroff

Hey, I have just read Michael Kostroff book; "Letters from Backstage" which is about his experiences playing Thenardier in the National tour of Les Mis and various roles in the tour of The Producers.
Did anyone see him as Thenardier? After reading about his backstage life, it would be interesting to hear about him onstage.
Its a good book- worthwhile to those interested in acting or theatre.

I saw Michael Kostroff as Thenardier. Overall he was pretty good, though maybe a little too funny at times. I enjoyed reading his book too, espeically the chapter "jiggery-pokery," about all the funny or "unprofessorial" things that happened onstage. What are your favorite stories of his, javertsw? Michael seems just as amusing in real life as he was onstage.

Haha that chapter was really interesting too! I loved hearing about all the things they did.
Especially when that actor playing Javert forgot his lines and started making lines up (something about reading mail?)
I liked reading about the rehearsal period for the Producers a lot. I also liked reading about what he thought of each town- his hatred for Cleveland was quite amusing (I've never even been there- but I feel sorry for someone reading the book who lived there).
