so, I have a dilemma... sort of...

As some of you may know, I last saw the London show about 7 weeks ago. As I'm an artist as well as a fan and musician, following the show I put together a drawing as a momento: http://purediamondlight.deviantart.com/art/Until-the-Earth-is-Free-161668595

I had the picture printed as a poster, and I sent it in a poster-tube addressed to the stage door of the Queen's theatre. I included a letter saying how much I'd enjoyed the show and requesting that maybe some of the cast could autograph it and send it back to me (I included stamps to cover return post).

This was about 5 weeks ago. About 3 weeks ago I contacted Nancy Sullivan through her website to ask her if it had arrived; she said it hadn't yet, and she'd let me know if it did.

I still haven't recieved either the poster or any word about it. I appreciate that the cast may be too busy / not interested in that sort of thing to respond. And I don't want to bug Nancy by asking her about it again!

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do? I know I may never get the picture back and I understand that. But if anyone has any suggestions, that would be really helpful.

Thank you Smile
Eppie-Sue

With any luck, one of the cast members that read the forums will spot this. Wink
And well, if there's an opportunity, I suppose I could ask someone for you. There's always the possibility of phoning in, too...?! Just one thing, I wouldn't put it down to the cast not being interested to respond. If you send it to the theatre, it's first and foremost the theatre/cast manager's job to get it done and to send it back, I'd suppose.

I really love your picture - you are very talented! Hope you hear something soon Very Happy

btw.... for the ALFOR pic... did you take the Nancy/Jon Robyns pic and put Alastair's head on? lol I like Jon's Marius better anyway

Ah, ok. I wasn't sure how correspondance etc worked. It may even just be that it's got lost in the post Sad

And thank you for your help! Smile If you could ask, that would be wonderful - but absolutely no pressure of course. If it's not right or appropriate, I understand.

Thank you again Smile

Haha, yes I did - it's the picture from the promo leaflet of Alistair as Marius looking at Cosette, reflected so that it's facing the other way and tilted so that he's looking down at Nancy. It looks a little odd stuck on top of Jon's body because they have very different builds... but I wanted a picture a this year's cast, so I sacrificed reality in order to do so Smile

I'm glad you like the picture! It took quite a while to finish Smile

I sent a letter to one of the cast in January and it got through alright. Of course, a poster to be signed by several persons might be less easy to handle.
Don't give up hope. Smile

The picture is gorgeous, just in case you were wondering. Smile You should have sent another copy for the cast to keep as well! Laughing
