Wee Bit Of Good News For Me (Bit of a Brag)Hello, just thought i'd share this with u guys.
I'm currently preparing to play both Valjean and Javert in 2 different productions of Les Mis this summer. And one is semi professional (I think, don't quote me on that, it's just that that director has done lots of semi pro work before).
Also this would be the third time i've done the show and the 2nd time i've played Valjean... and i'm only 18

Thanks everyone, i had a meeting with the musical director today and it turns out it will be filmed professionally and broadcast on the local channel , this is the one for which i'll be playing Valjean, so lets see if i get to upload it on youtube (unless im woeful lol).

Although I've known this bit of information for a while now I thought I would congradulate you a second time. Someday we'll find ourselves in the situation of you playing Valjean and me Javert...it's bound to happen!

just a bit of an update:
rehersals for both are underway
i find myself muddling words and everything its so confusing. e.g the other day i was playing javert and Valjean came out of the sewers and sang "It's you Javert, I knew you wouldn't wait too long!" to which i replied with "Before you say another word Javert! Before you chain me up..." then i realised.
haha, i'll keep you all updated

LOL, I was playing Pheobe and Elsie in two different productions of The Yeomen of the Guard a couple of years ago, so I sympathise. I never came in on the wrong bit but occasionally in rehearsal I'd start on the wrong note in close harmony sections.
