10th Anniversary CD Goofs

I was listening to the reprise of "One Day More" that they use for the finale (with all of the different languages) and I actually laughed out loud at one point.

Three minutes and five seconds into the song is the huge climax of it. I know it was a GIGANTIC choir, so slip-ups are bound to happen. But a group of men entered on the "one more door" part about half a beat early, and accidently sang "one day more" instead of "one more door!"

Or am I going crazy? Someone listen to it please, and confirm!! haha

I don't... understand...

The men entered early and sang the wrong lyrics. They sang "one day more" instead of "one more door."
Quique

You mean "one more dawn."
Fantine

Eh?

Oh, right. Sorry. Embarassed

It's obviously just me, then... Have any of you actually gone to listen to 3:05, or are you just saying I'm wrong out of spite? Neutral

The only thing people have said you were wrong about was the lyric... your posts have been a little difficult to understand. Yes, the beginnings are a little ragged at the very end of the final ODM, but it's just something I've never been very excited about.

The original question confused me Think but during the end of Castle On A Cloud a firework went off.

I've always thought it was a balloon popping that made that noise.
Trevor reincarnate

I'm pretty sure it was a balloon.

Laughing There so much fun to be had with that one.
lesmisloony

If you listen, I'm pretty sure another balloon pops during Dog Eat Dog...

I really like watching the actors in the background during the TAC. Like, throughout act one, Michael Ball keeps wiping his nose on his sleeve. Then, at one point (maybe the beginning of Waltz?) PQ leans over and whispers something to Mikey, pointing at his own nose... and MB starts furiously scrubbing his nose against his sleeve again...

Or Young Cosette picking her nose during IML...

Or the Enj/R butt-pat at the end of ODM...

The girl who's playing Young Cosette's voice quivers at that part and I always thought she did it on purpose. I just realized that she was probably scared of the noise.. wow.
herkind

You can see her jump right after the balloon pops but she keeps right on singing like a pro.

Another goof:

The really bad editing during the Epilogue, when Marius and Cosette arrived at Valjean's side. They edited a tiny 2 second snippet of One Day More before quickly switching cameras.

Oops sorry, I haven't watched it in awhile. But I listen to it all the time.

Oooh I KNEW there was something up with his nose. If you watch the end of ALFOR, it looks like he's wiping his nose in Lea's hair. Um. Ew. I'm fairly positive he's not actually doing that, but still. Every time I watch it, I cringe a bit.

... Wait what? *Being thick* Sorry can you re-explain? I'm so confused. x_x

That. is. hilarious.

The other thing you mentioned... the original poster was saying that, just before Cosette and Marius enter Valjean's Fabulous Death scene, there is a tiny shot from One Day More in which they approach the same microphone and Judy grins bashfully at Michael, who just kind of stares right through her with that dreamy look on his face. Then, in the next shot, you can see that the lighting is completely different and those two are actually at two different mics. I guess they just used that one bit from ODM to... explain that Marius and Cosette were about to sing? Or something? It's always irritated me too.

Does that help any?

^Are you also Lesmisloony on youtube?

If you are, I saw a comment you wrote on a video of the Sweeney Todd concert. I always get a kick out of seeing MdN people on youtube haha

I spammed someone who said Sweeney Todd ties with Wicked as their favorite musical.

I'm lesmisloony *everywhere*. Here, the old Le Cafe, livejournal, eBay, youtube, fanfiction.net, imdb, yahoo, AIM, my old abandoned myspace and xanga... and then about five thousand other places I rarely visit. Even my school email address.
It's easier to remember various usernames if they're all completely identical.

Whoawhoawhoa, wait a minute. Someone said Wicked and Sweeney Todd were on the same level of awesome? I... just blacked out for a few minutes.

It wasn't until later when you were washing their blood of your hands you even knew they were dead?

It's not as though they didn't have it coming. They only have themselves to blame.

If you'd have been there ... ah, nevermind.
lesmisloony

Hahaha, on-board sing-along. Because "elimination games" aren't spammy enough. Wink

....if you'd've seen it I betcha you would have done the same.

Sorry, couldn't help myself.
Timmy_Wishes he was Quast

I take full responsibility for moving this off topic!
mastachen

^Actually, I do.

If I haven't pointed out that some stupid fan thought Wicked was on the same level of Sweeney Todd, we wouldn't have been having this conversation Smile lol Twisted Evil
Timmy_Wishes he was Quast

Well thats ok then. As long as i'm not totally to blame. Very Happy
