10th anniversary DVD

Just got the new release of the Les Miz 10th anniversary concert (2 DVD + Book/souvenier program. BBC video)

Good sound quality. The picture is sharper (found the VHS release really foggy).

But...
They cut "Little People" in half. Gavroche comes in on "So don't believe a word he says..."
The speeches (from the original broadcast and VHS release) are completely gone.
The subtitles (for scene changes) are gone. They even cut out the names of each Valjean at the encore.
The second DVD has a "Making of Les Miserables: from stage to stage." Though I was thrilled to see this documentory again, I must confess I was hoping for something else. I was thinking they would included the making of the concert. How it all came together and interviews with the cast and such.

Other than that, the DVD is pretty good. and the casing (in the shape of a hard cover book) is snazzy as well.

It shocks me that they cut half of Little People... And the names of all the Valjeans!

I wonder why they didn't use the prints for the Region 2 DVD release, which has Little People intact and all the subtitles and names. It seems like a stupid mistake.
