That is adorable. Wish they did stuff like that more often.

I wish Phantom would do one.

It was part of a Showtime Xmas special. I have the entire program, which also included the London casts of Cats, Starlight Express, Miss Saigon, and Aspects of Love singing Xmas songs onstage. Plus a cheestastic recording studio session a-la "We Are the World" featuring Colm, Frances, Claire Moore, Michael Ball, Brightman, Paige, and many others.

Qustion: was Michael Crawford in the video? Becuase at the very end of the vid on youtube I saw someone with a bunch of Children who looked like him.
Quique

I don't think so, but not sure. I'll have to look at it again. And yes, they sing "Save the Children" at the end.

I've not seen the video in full, but the programme that it was taken from was called 'Save the Children with Michael Crawford' according to the British Film Institute. I believe that he sings a song called 'Let's Pretend' on the CD which was released at the same time, so might do on the video as well. He's definitely listed in the credits at the end.

For anyone whose interested, here's the cheesy recording studio video that Quique is talking about.

AH HA! I WAS RIGHT! Mr. Green I would like to thank Moci for answering for my question, for I've been tryingto figure it out for months(hears music playing) SHUT UP IT'S BEEN 29 YEARS! Thank you!

(Oh, yay, first post from a long-time lurker on the Les Mis board!)

If I am not mistaken, isn't this video is also from Save the Children?

^ Yes.

The version I have was renamed "A Broadway Christmas" (funny they should call it that since every show featured is a British musical and sung by their London companies). It was edited and aired on Showtime. I believe the full version is the one with the Michael Crawford and Frances Ruffelle ("I Watch You Sleeping") performance that could be found on YouTube.
