anybody else sad enough...to own an eponine style hat? bought with les mis in mind?I have one...it's brown...and some day when im feling silly i wear it along with my dad's creamy brown coat (very eponine style wise) and sing 'on my own' the family are always out when i do this (man..confessing that...thats a weight off my chest) |

lol..i hated my barbies...i puledoff their heads...threw them in the bath then added red bath oil to look like a total massica of heads in blood...i was a weird child. | ||||

I do too. I got it for �2 in a bargain bin at Accessorize and was so thrilled to find it I have a very Ponine-ish coat too, which was a hand-me-down from my mum.

Actually I have a hat, coat and skirt which look like the original, but I didn't even buy them on purpouse! :O It was stuff we already had.
I did buy a white top to go with it though. |

I do have the hat and coat, bought without Les Mis in mind!
I used to add stuff to it (white top, skirt) and belt out On My Own and A Little Fall of Rain in my bedroom. I've passed that stage now. Sort of. |

I have been shopping for a long black trench coat.... I WANT TO BE JAVERT!!!! And sometimes when i'mmall alone i climb on my bannisters at home, imagining the rain soaked river seine flowing below and hurling myself in....AH! the joys of being 18!

Someone's actually making me one. I couldn't find one in the shops that was close enough and I'm a perfectionist...so I showed my this person a couple of pictures and she's doing a great reproduction. I love Eppie's hat, it's so cool. The one in the current London production is a bit different from other Eppie hats I've seen so far though. The brim is different, bigger...
I'm thinking of getting my mum to make me Eponine's skirt and top too, and I expect I could find a trench coat close enough from somewhere...I'd love to have a reproduction Eponine costume, just 'cause it's such a cute outfit. |

The first prod. of Les Mis I was in I tried to steal Cosette's wedding dress! I was only 7 or 8 and I was a little Cosette wanting to grow up!!! Though at the time I thought it was unfair that I had to hand it back

An Eponine hat? Yes. But I think what really proves how sad I am is the Enjolras vest. Handmade. It's kind of difficult to insist that you're not an obsessive dweeb when you've just sewn 42 rows of gold trim onto a vest, for no particular reason other than 'yay costumes!'
...I wore it on Halloween with my tricolor sash. Not a single person had a clue who I was supposed to be. |

Does this count.. not as a hat of course... but I have an actual costume fomr the German production... it the jackets worn by Enjolras before he is Enjolras, as the sea captian in Lovely Ladies? I bought it off eBay, not to wear but as a 'genuine costume' thing.

Oh my Eppie hat...such a sad story. I bought one in bhs in Glasgow and any of my friends will tell you I worshiped that hat. For months i wore it every day. Then alas! I was in starbucks and was so pre-occupied by my friends that I left it. I went back about 15 minutes later and it was gone!!! None of the workers saw. I was so depressed and i can't find another one as good. 
Oh and I also have a eppie-ish coat...but its green. |

Is anybody else sad enough...I was Eponine for Halloween, with brown skirt, white top, trench coat, a pair of men's oversized boots, a grey hat, handwritten letters from the musical and book and a French coin, forty centimes to be exact. Also, all the clothing, including the boots, were stained and dirtied. I had a lot of fun, I even rubbed some dirt on my face for the effect of making me look more like a street person. I spent all my free time singing whith the CSR, and I did a pretty good death scene by falling on my bed during alfar. All in all, I thought it was a pretty interesting Halloween. |

just search under women's hats...search for a beret or a bakerboy cap in ether light brown or dark brown (belive it or not they dont have a section called 'brown') |
