Callbacks help please

So I got a callback for Les Mis. The company I am auditioning for just lists the people who they want for a callback, so i dont know what part to look into, study, see what songs they have, etc. So if this has happened to you, even if it wasnt for Les Mis, what did you have to do, just what you normaly do at callbacks or something different. Sorry Im just really nervous. Thanks!

Can you give me a little background information on you? Physical description, voice part, previous training, age range of the company, etc?

(and congrats on the callback)

Im 5'10" i have brown hair down an inch past my ears, I have a little bit of a heavy set build, Im a high baritone, I've been in about 10 other musicals, including, my fair lady, peter pan(Jhon) once upon a matress ( the king) Alice in Wonderland (the white king) and more, this company is for teens ages 13 to20. thanks for your help and for the compliment!
music is my life!!!

the first role i saw you as when i read that was enjolras - definately. maybe marius or jvj too...

Most of the male roles in the show (except Jean Valjean, who has to have a hell of an upper range) could be sung by a high baritone. But if you're tall and solidly built my first guess would be Javert--maybe Enjolras or Marius, too.

There's an Auditions board for general tips about callbacks.

You know, there are deadpan kids in Ethiopia who could use all those smileys and exclamation marks you're wasting...

So i got cast as A Student and Ensmeble! (I am holding back on my exclamation point and smiley use) I am extremely happy with this role! the only problem is what do they students do? are they part of the chain gang or is it just another way of say ensemble? thanks
lesmisloony

Which student?
dmbroadwaybound

They sent out an email and all it said was a student and ensemble.
