Complete recording?

I checked the two-disc OBC recording out of my local public library, but was distressed to discover that it wasn't a complete recording (as I expected). In fact, it seems to have a number of substantial cuts. Does a complete recording (every note of music and line of dialogue) exist for Les Mis? I am really disappointed with how much material is missing from the OBC recording

1. Yes. A complete recording of the show before the cuts is available...

2. Les Mis is completely sung-through. No dialogue.

I know that. I've seen the show (although it's been a few years). I just always thought there were a few occasional spoken lines with musical underscoring (even most "sung-through" musicals have a few of those). I could be wrong; it's been a while since I've seen the show.

On another note, just how much is missing from the OBC? Is there anywhere I can find a list of the cuts?

Enjolras says "Marius...rest" in the second act, and yes, even that's included in the complete recording.

And Feuilly's "Enjolras!"

That's about it.

Les Miz has very few spoken lines that aren't ad-libs you'd pick up during barricade scenes or Master of the House.

And Gavroche's "Listen everybody! Listen to me!! General Lamarque is dead."
Orestes Fasting

Well, sometimes Valjean says, "Take her to the hospital" during Fantine's Arrest. And someone usually yells out "Look out, it's a runaway cart!"

I can't really think of any other dialogue. Except ad-libs of course.

Oh yeah, I've heard Valjean say "You can find me at the hospital" to Javert after "Who Am I," but only during live performances.

I've been obsessed with LM for over six years, and I never knew Colm had such a cute accent until about two months ago, when I found a youtube clip of him talking. And I didn't hear Michael's speaking voice until Chitty. Pretty intense, considering they're on all but one English LM CD...

Which is something I love about the fandom, actually. Surprises all the time.

^ Same here. I had never heard Colm's speaking voice until I watched the PBS Les Mis In Shanghai special in 2002. I was like, he sounds weeeeeeird, lol.

Oh, that's right -- they actually used to name the hospital at one point.

No one ever answered one of my original questions, which is:

How much material was cut from the OBC recording, and where can I find a list of what's missing?

If you put it that way, no one's going to want to, either.

Some more spoken lines:

"You need somebody quicker, I volunteer!!'

"There's a boy climbing the barricade!!........*gun shots are heard*..............he's safe."
