Current Tour Cast or whatever

Hey all,

I'm wondering what the current cast of this is because I'ma go see it sometime before it all goes bye.

Oh yeah...and HOW ARE ALL Y'ALL?

Love,

IT. IS. ALIVE!

As far as I know, Adam Jacobs is still Marius. That alone is worth the price of admission.

That should be it for the coming months, although Sierra Boggess will be leaving this month to rehearse for The Phantom of the Opera in Vegas.
Fantine

I never thought I'd say this but... I missed you!
Aimee

I thought to say it and did. Smile Have fun at the show, you wont regret it.

Oh, shyte. I preferred her over Leslie Henstock.

Kragey, just wondering why you liked Sierra better than Leslie? I not seen either in the role of Cosette, but I have heard great things about Lelise and good things about Sierra.

I am hoping to see the tour in July, and I hope I get to see Marissa McGown on as Eponine because, from what I have heard, I think I will like her better than the regular, Melissa Lyons. The rest of the cast sounds pretty good, though I am not sure if I if I will like Joan Almedilla's voice as Fantine. I think I will like Adam Jacobs as Marius in spite of his accent.

Adam has an accent? If I'm not mistaken, Colle, you're American -- and Adam is from Half Moon Bay, California, where there is no definite regional accent (other than "generalized American"). What do you think Adam sounds like?

Alright, nice to see y'all too. And, I seen it.

It was good....I was all moved and stuff. I hate 99% of all corny, not good-music musicals, but Les Mis is just different. I was almost choked up at some parts, I know it's weird.

One thing I also dig is......the set.....it's so dreary, I just love it. Dreary, like death. It was all dreary, I forgot how cool that is. The windows and the sewers and all....I dig it. Other musicals look all cheery happy or corny or some other thing, but dreary is the only one that will really catch my attention.

Anyway, I re-realized that the great things about this are the story and the music. The music seems to come from the heart and the story has deep meaning. Why are other musicals performed baffles me.

"Accent" was the wrong word for me to use; "pronunciation" would have been much better. From what I have read, some people don't like how Adam pronounces some words.

Leslie is really good, but she either bores me and has no emotion (that's rare) or gets too shrill (which happens often). In my opinion, Sierra has a much more pleasant, sweet voice.

I do not like Melissa Lyons' voice at all, especially as Eponine. It's bland, dull, and completely run-of-the-mill. Adam Jacobs, however, is my favorite Marius, so <3 to him.

Vocally, the best was Randall Keith. His voice was clear and resonant and soaring and...just really good.

Robert Hunt's voice is not the dark and steely timbre needed for Javert...it's almost tenorial.

Agreed about Randal - hes gotta be one of the best Valjeans to date.

I also agree with you about Robert - he sounds more like a tenor who can hit baritone low notes. But he's still enjoyable. He makes Stars a real show stopper. Against the likes of Philip Quast, he's not Javert enough... but he's good enough.

Melissa Lyons is okay. She seems to have improved in the role, having listening to some of her earlier clips in LesMis.CafeMusain.com - especially her "pretending" line in OMO... actually, all of her OMO has improved.

Adam was qute enjoyable as Marius. Wonderful voice... a little off topic but when my little brother saw his headshot he thought he looked like me only older LMAO Laughing

Randal spells his first name with one "l."
