Does anyone know who sings this version of On My Own?This video is of figure skater Caroline Zhang skating to "On My Own." It might be part of Natalie Jackson Mendoza's remix version. I believe she released a CD when she was in the show which featured 4 or 5 versions of the song. (I'm not entirely sure, though, since I haven't heard it in years.) | ||

Natalie Jackson Mendoza also did a slow electric/synthesiser pop version with the "I love him, I love him" line sampled throughout. It was really really not fun to listen to. A friend looked at me in horror, took their earphones off and said "You LIKE this musical!?!?" | ||

The singer is Jennifer Manasseri; I have her album "Ballads Over Broadway", which this is on. She's not great. | ||

I thought that was hers I was thinking of. I only saw one clip of it on a friend's VHS (!) tape years ago. We all liked Les Miz but urged her to fast forward about 20 seconds into the song. |
