Favorite Orchestrations?

Which song's orchestrations do you love the most and why?

For me, it's "On My Own."

I f*cking love that song's orchestrations. They're so expressive.
The Pirate King

Who Am I?

Especially the crescendo on "how can I ever face myself again...?"

Honourable mention goes to the obvious: Stars and Javert's Suicide

I love the Epilogue. I adore the orchestrations all the way through this scene, but most of all the introduction Very Happy .

Yes!

And I love the Runaway Cart orchestrations, especially on the TAC.
What Is This Feeling?

The Runaway Cart and Prolouge, Dog Eats Dog, definately the best orchestrations, oh and Castle On A Cloud.

Damn...this is hard. I can't pick the whole show I guess? I suppose if I had to pick I'd go with...

I Dreamed a Dream- So powerful and tragic at the same time. Perhaps the most moving piece of the score, especially when it all comes together (where "And still I dream he comes to me..." is). The song has lost somewhat of it's touch with the stripping down of it for the revival. It's reprisal later on when Valjean goes to the Inn ("Cosette shall have a father now") is one of my favorite parts.

Other favorites:
Who am I?
Stars
One Day More
Bring Him Home

My favorite orchestrations on a whole appear on the PRC and TAC.
