Film interpretation of Les MisFor my A level in media studies I had to do a DVD. Being a slight musical fan�I chose to look at les mis (as I am sure some of you would have done too! ). Although this was a few months ago now, I thought I�d give you the link to look at some of stuff I did (none of them are the full songs just because i only had 4 days to do the filming so i had to just take the essence of each song)
There is no obvious singing in ether of these clips as my actors and actresses weren�t comfortable with their voices, so I did it as if they were singing in their heads, if that�s make sense? Anyway, take a look�tell me what you think, esp. of my casting (I know my Jean Valjean is quite young, but I needed somebody strong enough to carry my Marius who is about 6ft 4 in real life!) That is good. Bring Him Home could have been longer?
What else is in the movie? Any dialogue? What I've seen I liked, but it's abit odd. As I say, what else is in the movie? |

lol, yeah, i'd agree 'bring him home' would have been good if it had been a little bit longer, but my actor who was playing jean Valjean had carried 'Marius' up that hill (which is actually quite steep at the bottom) 3 times, but i forgot to take the lense cap off each time! (i was not popular)
There is no dialoge as i didnt actually make the whole movie as, like i said, i only had 4 days. if you wanna see more...i also have the following: I dreamed a dream (staring moi!) Fantine's death and the confrontation A heart full of love (poor quality) A little fall of rain (poor quality) Marius Meeting cossette (very short) Loverly ladies and an unedited version of Javert Suicide (no sound or anything)
yeah, it's only the sound, no talking or sound effects as i had to do it quite quickly which is also why none of the songs are full length apart from a few circumstances. |

I loved the On my Own! I thought it was very stylish, and captured the mood perfectly. I would like to see the I Dreamed a Dream, if possible.
Xx claire P.s in Bring Him Home, is the close up of an arm? just before the cross? I thought it was, but didn't catch it. |

ok...'i dreamed a dream' is here...am a little bit unsure bout it..but thats proably becuase im very critical of my acting.
