So this theatre here in Salt Lake is said to be the first theatre to have the rights, other than Broadway, to the full production of Les Miz. I just found this interesting. I don't know if I misinterpreted this or if this is true. Just wondering.

The first American theater, anyway. There have been plenty of regional productions in other countries, many of which weren't using the London staging and design. (Salt Lake isn't using it either.)

There are going to be quite a few more regional productions cropping up around the US in the next couple years; Salt Lake, Philadelphia, Sacramento, and St. Louis to name a few.
