For those who requested a copy of the BBC Concert...I haven't forgotten you. Please forgive me though for not sending it sooner. This week was very busy for me and tonight is too (darned science unit test), So I only have a little while here.
I should be able to send it out to everyone by Wednesday, latest Friday. It's a two link file (Act one and two seperately)and thats another reason why it has been taking me so long.
Anyways, sorry for the delay. If anybody needs anything else let me know.

Thanks, I've missed you lot. And it is terrible to admit, but I didn't realise that it was the 21st anniversary until I heard it in the car, on the (Dutch - isn't that amazing? It actually came on the Dutch news... with soundclips and everything) radio.

The same thing happened to me. It said that the download was exceeded. *shrugs* If you can get the second act to me that would be great. If you can't that's okay too. You know what they say. Never look a gifted horse in the mouth.

Put it this way... she's a much better Eponine. I liked her performance in the early stages but half way through IDAD I was like  .

I'm not really a fan of Sophia Ragavelas as Fantine either. She has improved with the role since July, when I first saw her, though.
And does anyone else agree that there doesn't seem to be enough contrast between the singing styles of the female performers? Although I really like Gina beck as Cosette, there's just something about Sophia and Sabrina which convinces me that they're both great performers, but that maybe Fantine and Eponine just aren't their roles.

I think maybe Sophia doesn't have the classic Fantine voice which can make the most of IDAD (although for the first few years of my Les Mis fandom I saw Jo Ampil in the role which is a really tough act for anybody to compare to). I do however find her Fantine very moving especially in Come to Me and I like the way she seems to be a lot more active in the role than others I've seen in the past. So, I know I'm biased, but I actually do like her as Fantine. Having said that, I really couldn't see why everybody showered Kerry Ellis with so much praise in the last cast, because she really didn't do a great deal for me so maybe it's me that's the odd one out here

Well I wouldn't really mind her voice (and timbre), but I believe she missed some notes too...
That said... I wasn't too impressed with her Eponine either, but that might have to do with the fact that she was my first Eponine, having only seen the TAC. Which is a huge difference if you have lived your life thinking that the TAC was all that there was to Les Mis.

it would be awesome if i could get a copy as well. you know you could just set it up as a podcast or something... i personally use pod-serve.net, but there are plenty of sites out there, i just find there's to be the easiest and most friendly, and basic sites available. it all just looks so pretty!
btw, my podcast, under the same title as my forum pen name, is actually a collection of recordings from my high school's various concerts/performances. there's some pretty cool stuff on there right now and this spring i'll be posting a complete recording of our rendition of "aida" after it's done.
Thanks SO much for the help! im a die-hard LM fan and i didn't find out about the radio broadcast until it was too late. i've been scouring the net ever since trying to find a copy of it, but in vain. your work is much appreciated!

Hello from Australia!
I saw JOJ and Les Mis late in 05 when I was in london and I can honestly say I have not and will not ever be so blown away again, the show was unbelievable.
Now thats out of the way, i would LOVE to get a copy of the BBC recording, I want to send it to a family friend who I saw the show with, she would absolutely love it. Anyone able to help me out?
