I suppose buying any more CD's would be out of the question then?

Pfft. Buying stuff is so overrated lol.

Especially when you can get 100% quality downloads. I've just downloaded a "Miss Saigon".

What the fuc* are you on? Lol, I was pointing out that one can download perfectly good albums, and I was using my "Miss Saigon" as an illustration??

Wow, you got some issues.

Were you one of the kids at school who used to hide in the toilets at recess and when you came out, you had to cower in the corner because you were prodded and poked and made fun of the other kids? Anger is one of the counters to a disturbed and bullied childhood... Look at most domestic issues and look at the males' or females' past... Dear dear...

Anyway, my point eponinegirl is that you can download 100% quality albums off the internet if you have the facility, because I too find that buying all these CDs burns a hole in your wallet!

That's clever, the 'I bet you had a disturbed childhood one'. Great.
If you want to hurt cast recordings sales then that's great- Keep up the good work Applause

I'm hurting... I don't think it's really making a difference

Oh, I will keep up the good work, as it the only one I've downloaded Very Happy Shocked Lol So much hostility at downloading an album

And therein lies the problem.

More accurately, the problem is the number of people who think this way.

This would be along the lines of my little piece of litter won't do any harm:

You can't say that Shocked I don't say that about ecology! I have been to three ecology lectures about the "rubbish problem" (little bit of a pun there), two of which out of my own whim. Criticise me on the album, but don't use the ecology argument.

To clarify, I am not saying it's legal or the correct thing to do, I was merely pointing the fact to eponinelover. Whether people like it or not, there will be downloading of music as it's easier and free. As you'll always find litter problems. Again, I'm not saying it's the right thing to do - I was pointing the fact to eponinelover. I bet you there's many many people on this forum (MDT, not just Les Miserables) who download music from the computer.

In keeping with the theme of the last two posts, neither of which I understood...

For some people, yes. Me, I don't buy anything online because my bank won't issue me a credit card for the time being. (Though I do buy CDs from stores.)
Kragey

I just scrolled to those pictures in the middle of study hall. Oops.

Annnnny way. I don't have a big deal with downloading clips or the occasional album, but a lot of my stuff is paid for.

That litter picture depresses me.

Ah cool... It was very early in the morning/late at night here.

I'm not sure what mine was, other than a famous biking image that I hoped would lighten the atmosphere. Smile hehehe

For the record:

Out of my ... hold on ... counting ... 170 albums on my iTunes, 7 of them are downloaded:

Miss Saigon
Damien Rice
Billy Joel
Dandy Warhols
Green Day
No Doubt
Oasis

So, I wouldn't say that 0.041 of my albums that are downloaded really affects it. I'm sorry, but I'm not one of these people who downloads everything. Just the odd album if I'm at school and someone mentions it and I won't have time to 'pop into town' to but it.

Aimee

Yes lots of people download off the net. Is it right? No. But hey, let's drop this bickering shall we, and talk about Les Mis.

Thanks.
