Help, please!First of I am new to Les Miserables, and it is my highschool's musical for this year. I am thinking of auditioning for Cosette, since I am a soprano, and if anyone could give me a list of songs that she sings or advice or a website where I could learn more about Les Mis I would really appreciate it! Thank you! |

Cosette is the romantic charcter in this, Fantine's daughter.
she sings in a number of things, her biggest songs being In my Life ( duet ) A heart full of love ( duet ish...eponine comes in ) one day more ( whole cast, but has solos in it ) there are more, but i cant remember right now. |

To learn more about Les Mis, you could read the book.

Yeah.
Come to think of it, you'll probably like Cosette a lot more if you read the book than just listen to the musical. They absolutely murdered her character in the musical. |

The sad thing is that she probably got off the easiest... |

Yeah I found out auditions are only in december so I will have time to read the book and watch the dvd of the 10th anniversary! And hopefully they will like me and I will be in it. | ||||

1458, actually, but we're not talking impenetrable, Dickensian thickets of prose here. I sat down to read a bit of it the other day and wound up covering a couple hundred pages in one sitting. And about 200 pages of it is digressions that can be skipped. |
