I don't know who's in charge of this, but how about for the next Les Mis forum casting, or at some point, we'll have participants post a file of them singing something, and then vote for roles based on voice, or at least have voice be a factor besides personality. To me, it'd be pretty cool to see which people in here would match vocally with the characters.

That kind of thing has been done in the past but is now not popular. If my memory serves me right, it may even be against the forum rules now. One of the moderators may know off the top of their head.

If and when we do it again [it was years between the last two] we can iron out the rules then. To me personally this idea sounds too much like a virtual casting which is not the idea, though to be honest I think many people do go by voice too. I'm pretty sure I was cast as Madam T cos of my age and cos I sing her bit in the One Day More recording we did [not because people think I am a slob who shouts at young girls].
