illinois all-state!I was just wondering if anybody else was in all-state. I just got my letter about a week ago and I cannot wait! I'm in the ensemble, but that is purely amazing to me anyway. Like I said, just wondering if anybody else was in it. If so...see you in august!!!

I didn't audition because I don't have time this fall, but my best friend is in it! =)

Congratulations!
I was, sadly, unable to audition.. but a very good friend of mine did and was cast as Thenardier! Maybe you met him? His name is Dillon and he has the reddest hair ever. He's quite the character.. very hard to miss!
Anyway, I'm completely jealous of you and I hope you have a lot of fun!

Yes, its basically open to high school students in Illinois, and they can audition to be in the show, and it is basically treated as a professional production. Full lights, full set, full script, everything. Its an amazing sight. Congrats to anyone who made it!

That's who I'm talking about! =) Heheh.
And yes, he was cast as Thenardier and he will be phenomenal. But best of luck to you! I'll be coming up there to see the show with my school!
And I just fell in love with the musical, because I saw Les Miserables last night at the Fox Theater in St. Louis so now I'm even more depressed I didn't audition, but nonetheless I'm super excited to see the show!!
