Les Mis artwork

I'm on my winter break, so I'm trying to revive my artistic skills. Here's something I drew on one lazy..err...Wednesday...afternoon. It's not that great, b/c I stink at proportions and didn't draw her head tilted enough, so it doesn't match her tilted nose, hehe. Oh well. I guess my drawing skills have atrophied a bit...

I searched the website and didn't see any other thread for this, so does anybody have anymore Les Mis artwork to share, no matter which medium? Very Happy (Haha, I'd like to see some sculptures of Enjy's bust! jk!)

That. Is. Amazing. That. Is. Amazing.

Oh my god do you draw for a living? Because your picture is AMAZING! I love all the shading and everything. You should really draw landscapes or other works where proportions don't matter. Because your amazing at art!

Eponine93: Heh! Thanks- I'm flattered that you think its that great! This drawing is still not completely done yet; I'm not completely satisfied with it. There's more shading and adjusting to do. And, no way do I draw for a living! It's just a personal hobby, though I'm drawing more abstract stuff and thinking about keeping a portfolio now.

C'mon. I KNOW that there are more artists on this forum! Share! Wink
Aimee

I can't draw to ave my life and envy people who can. Well done.

Eponinesrain- Well done! You've really captured Shonagh's expression- that's really hard to do!

Well, this isn't mine, it's my mom's. And it's not a painting, but a cake- but I think it's a masterpiece! (It was my b-day cake)

When it comes to the art-sy side of Les Mis, I'm more of a writer than a drawer, but my doodles can be found here on mah website :

All of these (except for Mizwank) were born from watching incredibly boring movies.

Why can't my Javert ever look like a MAN?

Electricity 24601, I love that cake. Its so funny!
Fantine

I like. Drawing faces is so hard! Good job.

Electricity24601- That cake is such a creative idea! Your mom is so thoughtful to do that for ya. It looks yummy, too! Thanks for sharing.

Cloudy- Awesome drawings, especially the South Park rendition, lol!

Thanks, Aimee and Fantine! I'm thinking about drawing the scene where Cosette and Eponine mirror each other on opposite sides of the gate in AHFOL for my next picture...

Gah, that reminds me--I started a fluffy Marius x Cosette picture and never finished it. x_x

Here's the picture I'm working on now. I'm contemplating if I should tailor the little girl in the mirrored image to make it the Les Mis logo of little Cosette, haha. I guess one could see it as Cosette looking at herself on her wedding night...? *shrugs*

Again, my proportions suck.
Cloudy This Morning

I drew Cosette in a traditional Czech outfit, because I have no life. Modeled from a really old book about fashion in Europe. -_- I also have Javert and Fantine in traditional Hungarian get-ups, and Marius also in Czech, but he's not done yet. Very Happy

SORRY about the size!! I don't know how to resize to save my life.

Bah, it looks wanky. Maybe I should've colored it. Confused

(PS - I don't know if you can read it, but the writing says, "Czechoslovakia, 19th century," and then, "Breclav, Moravian Slovakia" which is where (obviously) the outfit originiated.)
chomppuppy

Hi everyone, I'm new to the board, but I recently made a Eponine finger puppet for Celia Keenan-Bolger. just thought I'd share.

Don't do a lot of cartoon drawings, but here's one I did for fun! Smile

One Day More!
