Les Mis in LondonLast summer, when I was in London, I planned to go and see it but I couldn't find any tickets for it at any box office. But this year I thought I'd book the tickets atleast 2 months in advance but I have no idea which place/site to buy them on. I'd be more than happy if anyone could help me with which site/s to book them on and which seats that are good. When in London I booked them at a place near Piccadilly but that was the day before the show so we ended up seeing Wicked with seats on the back row of the stalls and I couldn't even see Elphaba Defy Gravity (haha) and I don't want to do that mistake again. And if I've posted this in the wrong section, then I'm very sorry. |

wellll.... i saw it in 2007 and sat in the middle of the dress circle. it was an amazing view!
I was sooo annoyed when i saw Joseph last year... you couldn't see him go in the air! When we saw wicked, we were at the front of the dress circle and she was like looking at us the whole time! oh! and we get our tickets from ticketmaster |

Re: Les Mis in London
At any box office? Did you not try the actual Les Mis box office? There's pretty much always seats available! I went in on the off chance the other day and got a seat in the middle of row a, for that evening! If you want good seats, my advice is ring the Queen's Theatre box office. If you're booking that far in advance, you'll pretty much be able to pick where you sit. Best seats in the house are probably the first 4 rows, in the middle. |

The best website to book tickets on is probably the actual Delfont Mackintosh site. I would have thought that they have the best allocation, and their booking fees aren't too extortionate compared to Ticketmaster and See Tickets.
http://www.delfontmackintosh.co.uk/Tickets/LesMiserables.php It also gives you a telephone number to ring if you would rather book that way. I would also read this page before you book. It gives you lots of information about how to book, and you can read opinions of different seats that audience members have emailed in. http://www.theatremonkey.com/QUEENSbooking.htm I always sit in row BB now. It is restricted view because the seats are so close to the stage, but for 20 you really can't complain and it allows me to see the show on a regular basis without getting too expensive! Row A, the first 'proper' row (row BB is only 6 seats, 3 at each side of the orchestra pit), is brilliant, but much more expensive at about 55. I hope that helps a little! |
