Les Miserables Actors, but Acting in a Play

I was researching on Shakepseare's Measure For Measure, as I am studying it and am revising Shakepseare at the moment, and I came across Roger Allam's personal experience of acting the Duke for the RSC in 1987, explaining how he played the Duke to be codependent, how the Duke uses other characters to gain knowledge of himself. It made me smile, as I know I'll be able to remember this piece of anecdotal 'evidence' that I can use in the exam.

It got me thinking; how many Les Miserables Original Cast actors have you seen act, not in a musical but in an actual play. I'd love to see them, as you'd really be able to judge their acting ability. And also, it'd just be nice to see them in something esle. Who have you seen?

I did "Measure For Measure" for A-level (a whole year ago) and I remember reading that piece too. I remember Allam saying that he'd played Angelo several years before playing the Duke and I really wanted him to talk about some of the parallels between Angelo and Javert ("We must not make a scarecrow of the law... "I am the law and the law is not mocked!") in the way in which they're both obsessed by the law only for it to be their downfall, as that definitely would have stuck in my mind, but no such luck.

Of the OLC, I've seen Rebecca Caine, David Burt and Frances Ruffelle live, but in musicals or concerts, not straight plays.
