Les Miserables at the Wembley Stadium 2005?According to the VHS of the Dream Cast John Caird announces a 20th anniversary for Les Mis at the Wembley Stadium?
I've heard (through rumours and things) this sequence is deleted from the DVD release (probably because it's not happening?)
What's the story? Will this be happening?

They are doing a celebration for the 21st year. Its rumoured to be in either wembley (when it's built!) or Hyde Park next summer.
They are definatley doing something though, it even mentions it in the new brochure.

Fun fun fun. I can't wait for tickets to go on sale.
And delinquent, there is some kind of celebration this year, in a weeks time. We poor public were only alowed to get tickets for the upper circle as the stalls and the dress circle are for VIPs only. See the thread about 8th October.
[.... despite the fact that I bought tickets for row B back in about December last year I have had to send them back for a refund!!! UNFAIR!]

There was also a raffle for other seats, but they've all been allocated now I believe.

Sorry to bump this, but apparently (according to JH on the LondonLesMis board) Cameron Mackintosh said in an interview for the BBC that a celebration evening will be held next year in the late summer (he stopped himself saying July).
Someone else claims to have had an email from CamMack saying it'll be Hyde Park, but this one is a bit more dubious.

What I am hoping they will do for this is bring back at least some of the parts that have been cut since the CSR. Next summer might turn out great for me, there is this and I will see the U.S. tour of Les Mis if all goes well.

I hope they do the full show not the shortened version from the TAC. I doubt they will do the bits that were cut in 2000, sadly, it's just no longer done in the UK.

Or the US. The most recent production in Bonn (the crazy avant-garde, slashy one) left them in, though.
