Libretto

does anyone know where i can find the libretto for Les Mis as it currently stands on broadway?

Orestes Fasting

Not all in one place, but it's basically the libretto as it stood when the national tour closed, except a few tweaks:

- Second verse of Castle on a Cloud has been cut
- Turning has been restored to its full version
- The inn scene in the prologue ("My rooms are full") is back
- The full version of Upon These Stones is back
- The line "everybody stay awake" has been replaced with "Everybody keep the faith, for certain as the eagle flies / we are not alone, the people too must rise"
- The cuts to Come to Me remain, but the rhyme has been fixed ("Come to me, Cosette, the light is dying / don't you hear, the winter wind is crying")

I don't remember any other cut bits that have been restored, though there might be a couple. I'd forgotten half of Upon These Stones was gone until a friend reminded me.
music is my life!!!

i saw it the past weekend and i was noticing not only the cuts but more where things we're reworded and i was wondering if anyone had come out with lyrics for those parts yet. though thank you for the rundown of the other cuts as well. Smile
