Looking for the perfect audition songI'm sorry, this is not about Les Mis, but it's about Mary Poppins. I'm thinking about entering in a Dutch TV contest that is based on 'How do you solve a problem like Maria', except they're looking for Mary Poppins this time (we've already had Tarzan, Evita and Joseph).Since I have absolutely no clue of a great audition song for Mary, I'm desperately looking for help! And I know that this isn't exactly the right forum to do this but... I know you best, I trust you and I think that you guys are best able to help me out

I would like to help you. But I don't know many "rare" musicals and most of the songs I can think about are probably overdone.
The one song I can think of is: "If I had a fine white horse" from The Secret Garden, which is certainly not an overdone musical. It's beautiful, it's funny, and it's Mary Poppiish (since it's about a chambermaid "teaching" a rich orphan child how to play with her imagination), and I think that it can fit your voice.
