Grantaire (less whiny)

Umm...um...Marius! He's just such a lovable idiot! But then again Grantaire's a lovable idiot too... I think Marius wins though, because he can be that stupid without even being drunk |

Marius. | ||

Hello
Character wise i am not fan of either. I might find Grantaire funny sometime, but i don't really enjoy the company of drunk people. Marius in the book started fine, but by the end of it i couldn't stand him. However, in the musical, Marius. He has got one of my absolutely top favourite songs: Empty Chairs at Empty Tables. |

Grantaire. He's the cooler, funnier character.

Wow, these __ vs __ things sure are popular these days.
That being said, as funny and pathetically cuddly as Grantaire is, I would totally go with Marius any day. I. Heart. Marius. And I love my Marius plushie. .....I'm not weird. <_< |

Did someone say Marius plushy? Where did you get that and how can I get one?
I like both of those characters equally. While I feel Marius has better songs than Grantaire, I think that Marius acted like a complete idiot about the whole Eponine situation. I've been in a Eponine-like situation and trust me, when someone acts like Marius, going gaga over a pretty new girl instead of giving the girl who's been his best friend and in love with him forever a chance, its hurtful and extremely idiotic. And I dislike Grantaire because 1) I hate wine, and 2) I don't go for drunks. |

Trust me, babe, you were not in an Eponine-like situation unless you were poor, homeless, filthy, and subject to the whims of your money-grubbing father's gang.
Unless you mean her love life? In which case the guy involved was an ass for not even noticing you because you were of a lower social class. Oh, it wasn't because he was from a rich family and you were poor? Then you weren't in an Eponine-like situation. |

This is always such a touchy subject. |

Marius. Ultimately we hardly get to know Grantaire. He's a fun role but Marius has a lot more to him that we see.
terrible grammar but you get me. |

Erhm... I kinda made it because I have no life. See my icon? That's my super-sexy Javert plushie. Marius is adorable. He's got big ol' eyes and shiny, shiny hair. He and Cosette!plushie are sitting on the couch next to each other right now. And the super-dirty Eponine plushie is in a box somewhere, being thoroughly unloved. |

Don't worry, you are not alone. I once made sock puppets out of all the Les Mis characters for a school book presentation. Of course, I wasn't familiar with the show at the time so they didn't exactly look like the characters. I've been meaning to remake them sometime. Sock Javert Your plushie is amazing, by the way. |

Marius. Definately. | ||

Well, Javert is the best character, cause' he has that giant silly hat and those pretty buttons on his coat. |
