There is a harmony on the line 'Do you hear the people sing?'. Some people sing the normal tune and some people go up. I will go up if you want. I also think that there is a harmony on the last 'One Day More'. Shall I do them?

The main harmony to get is on the word 'more', as it goes up. Some people should stay on the same note, and others go up at different intervals. If you get that then it'll sound good.

If necessary to make the chorus sound 'fuller' I thought we could all record it both ways.

Play around with different harmonies - if you know what the chords are you can sing different notes - not necessarily what's in the recordings.

I did a couple of recording but they were all crap [my bits were ok but the chorus bit were naff at the end cos of the timing]. hehehe Embarassed

And as Fantine wants them without the music playing too I am going to have to try it using head phones instead of speakers to get my cue.

Those of you who need the backing don't listen to it online. Just right click and 'save as target'. Then, whenever you need to listen to it, you play it from your own pc and don't use the download bandwidth.

Hey-I started reading this forum, and I got to the 7th page and gave up...=/...haha...I just wanted to say that if you still haven't found an Eponine, I played her last summer in a semi-professional production, and I haven't got a sound clip, but I do have a video clip from the dvd our group made if you'd like to see...=)...this is a fabulous idea by the way...obviously the public is quite fond of it ((25 pages!! wow!!))...anyway, I hope to hear from you soon!!!

I am part of a small Musical Theatre group (4) and we do a cut down version of Les Mis (And Phantom and Oliver!) in our shows, One of the casy makes an excellent Valjean or Javert (or even Thenadier) and would love to have ago. Obviosly we share alot of the parts in our show. I can get him recorded in cubase in my studio.

for the chorus, you could simply have all the people sing together with only a few more ppl, it'll shorten the whole getting recordings to one another thing

Okay I've recorded my chorus part. I recorded it once singing an E at the end and once singing a G. Both these notes appear to be covered, so whichever would suit better I'll send.

Sorry to revive this.

I recently found the files on my computer again during a clean up and I must say that the end result sucked because of my bad mixing. I can do a lot better and since a lot of time has passed between then and now, maybe we can finally fill in the missing parts!

Anyone willing to sing Valjean or Enjolras?
