Oh, I was just interested in seeing it. Because one day more is such a "showstopper" I would imagine it would have bbeen at its best on Broadway's last show. I just thought it would be neat to watch with such energy. | ||||||||

Ouch! I watched that as well... I think before the singer the first mistake was the "orchestra" of three instruments, flute, drums and piano. Maybe a violin entrance here and there. That was where the butchering started. As an edit.. I did watch the "Bring him Home" and the boy who played that had a LOT of quality in his voice. So its could be the fact they are so young or the fact that the guys are screaming instead of singing? Sadly, this is the lack of funding for the Arts for schools these days. I had the unfortunate meeting with the lack of funding in an Arts school when I went to HS. While I was in school they took the funding away for the Summer Musicals (the major productions) and that was the end of decent Musical theatre as we knew it. We did alot of musical theatre pieces in our large choirs and ensembles but nothing like the show. |

The way I see it is, if they got something out of it then thats great.
I agree Enjolras was 'not good' but what confused me most was where were the women chorus in One Day More? |

Valjean screams and shrieks, not to mention his beard is tacky. That one's from Los Angeles, I can tell you that much. Thanks for the anime one, too. I had some otaku friends who told me about it years ago (they know a bit about theatre) and told me I HAD to see it. But that was before this kind of stuff was easy to find online. |

Nice, this is the first IDAD video I have ever seen! I actually had seen that anime bit once... I think that is in fact done nicely. That last video was just total crap

WOW! You should have seen how big my smile was after that video! lol! I wish I had been there.... the cast was so energetic, and the audience was so enthousiastic. I know from personal experiences that when an audience is very resopnsive, then the actors are so much more enthousiastic and want to do their very best.
