Peter Risher?OK, normally I don't start topics, but this one was started out of crazy curiosity.Who is Peter Risher? Apparently he was in Les Miz with Rena Strober at one point, so it wasn't that long ago: http://www.sdjewishjournal.com/stories/june06_3.html She became acquainted with another Jewish �Les Mis� cast member, Peter Risher, who also worked as a cantor. His commitment to his faith moved her. Risher never performed on Fridays or matinee Saturdays to honor the Sabbath. I can't think of anybody with a name even similar to that who was on tour the same time she was (my first thought was Peter Risher was this person's non-stage name), so maybe it was a crew member and the paper got it wrong? If I google the name + "Les Miserables," the only thing that comes up is this article. |
