Placement of original "Little People"?I have only seen and heard the recent version fully, so I know how the cut down versions fit in, that is, the one Gavroche sings to Javert after revealing his identity and the one he sings just before he dies.
But on the original London cast CD, there is a much longer version of the song, quite a bit earlier in the play (but still sung by Gavroche), and Wikipedia says that this was later cut out. Where did this fit in to the script? When he sings that fellas laugh at him because he is small, is he referring to the students or some other characters? And who is the professor referred to in the line, "Listen here professor with your head in the clouds"?

Who is Professor Abronsius? When does he appear in the show?

Abronsius appears throughout the show of Tanz der Vampire....not so sure about Les Mis
Based on the recording of 'Little People', there's men and women laughing in the background. Gavroche is probably talking to one of them.

I was going to say something sarcastic, but TVAW seems to have beaten me to the punch.
The placement of "Little People" on the OLC has no bearing on where it actually was in the show. IIRC it was right before Drink With Me.
