Quebec 2008 Recording

It's available on i-tunes now, woo. Has anyone heard it yet? I think it's very nice, and surprisingly for me one of my favorite songs on it "Mon histoire" (On My Own). The Eponine sounds so small and sad.
CabaretGirl

I got mine last week and it's very enjoyable... Only disappointment is that there are only 10 songs.

I saw this live last summer while on vacation and it was amazing! Thanks for the heads up re the recording - I will for sure be getting this!
Thom_Boyer

Anyone know if there will be a CD release, or is this an iTunes exclusive?
Ulkis

It comes as a CD as well. I know at least hmv.ca has it, and amazon.com says it has it, but for 45 dollars, so I would look elsewhere.

For 16,99$ CAN. That's where I ordered mine.

Many thanks -- I'm ordering my copy right away! Smile

Got my copy and seeing it live!

Just got my copy from Amazon.ca yesterday, and although only 9 songs + ouverture, it is an awesome CD. Saw it last summer and thought that'd be it, but will be seeing it this Friday in Quebec! Same great cast, too!
Mademoiselle Lanoire

Itunes? I can't find it. All I can find on itunes is the 1991 recording.

Oh my gosh, we just saw it Sunday and it is the most excellent LM I've ever seen.

You win the internets and my life if you get a video on Friday...

My brother and his wife are on vacation in Canada right now. I got an e-mail from him the other day--they saw the Quebec Les Mis.

Oh how jealous I am.

Why, why, why is it that every single North American production of Les Mis this year ends before I graduate? I would travel just about anywhere on the continent to go see it after August 4th. They all end or ended in July or the first few days of August. And according to mtishows.com, there are no more planned.

And as much as I would love to, I cannot afford a flight to London at the moment. It's not fair! Mad

I think there's something starting back up in New York next summer, if you're interested.

Nah. They'll probably release it a couple days (or a month) before the first show. But, found this.

*hopesforawesomeness*

Another ticket to add to the wish list. As if Hair, N2N, and Hamlet weren't expensive enough.
Quique

My bro took this pic before the show.

Very Happy

Oh Qubec LM, we only met once, but I knew then it was true love...
CabaretGirl

I saw it twice. I didn't get a video (I'm a real chicken...), but I posted this on YouTube a few months ago:

It was an amazing production!

It opened Quebec City to musical theatre.
Let's hope I'll have some other amazing production in my city soon!!
