Thank you so much- I was actually having a really hard time opening the other link. It has been years since I read the translation of the OFC. I am quite struck by how poetic and beautiful the original French was.

This version was never actually staged in France was it? I am guessing not since it is called the "concept" album and not Original Cast recording or something.
If it was staged are their any photos anywhere? Does anyone know anything about the performers? Were they well known actors/singers in France at the time? Hope my questions aren't too ignorant! |

Found Rose Laurens website:
http://www.roselaurens.com/ I really loved Marie's voice- but can't find anything on her due to her not having a last name. |

Mademoiselle Lanoire |
Interesting. She reminds me a tiny bit of Tina Turner.

WoW! What a rare find! You rock, BigR! Looks like screen captures, which means there's video of the production floating around somewhere. Ahhh!! |

Wow How did you find that?? I loved the pictures from the show- they looked so gritty. They do look like screen captures- I don't know French but it looks like it says "photos from the video"

Have you listened to the soprano singing OMO? It's like a nightmare.

It says the pictures are from a video, but they also mention you can't find this video anywhere on the market.
Most of the performers were well-known French pop singers (Michel Sardou, Michel Delpech, Adamo...). |
