Quick Question about the Original Broadway run...

During the last show, after the show ended, Cameron made a speech. But then, people tell me something else happened--like, a reprise or something? Does anyone know/Was anyone there? I'm talking about 2003, obviously. I'm just really nosy and want every last detail...

Was it some sort of... trotting-out of the understudies?

Please don't spear me if this is a dumb question...

I have an audio of it somewhere, but I can't find it now (I'm messy and have my stuff strewn all over the place). I don't remember what happened at the end of the show. I think there was a reprise of "One Day More." Not sure. As for speeches, I'm guessing there probably were some. Maybe I'm confusing it with the end of the 10th anniversary Broadway performance. Confused

I'm sorry, I wish I was of more help.

Very Happy I was trying to be vague and not self-incriminating... but I have the audio too. It's kind of like LM in fifteen minutes--a few minutes of a song here, a few minutes of another there. But the audience started laughing at several points, and I wasn't entirely sure if it was Randal Keith singing BHH... so. I was wondering what the heck was going on. Cammack inroduced it in his little speech, but I couldn't understand half of what he said due to fuzzy static-ish noises...

I recall mine having lots of static too. Grrr, I wish I wasn't so messy so I could find it and take a listen, hehe. I've only listened to that recording a couple of times, so my memory fails me. d'oh!

I think a lot of it had to do with the novelty of it being HS kids. Because that's what the special finale was -- a bunch of performers from tri-state LMSEs.

Skylar Astin was Javert, BTW.

Oh yeah, there was that performance of ATEOTD and ODM (I think), and the finale by the SE kids. Totally forgot about that.

He lists Javert as a Broadway credit in his playbill bio. I've always wondered about that.
