Awww. That sucks, I hope he gets better soon.
The Pirate King |
Has he really appeared in more performances than any other actor? I doubt that. I'd have guessed McCarthy or Rutherford.
Though I guess Keith was on the tour for quite a long time... |

Mackintosh chooses the regional theaters? How does that work?
The Very Angry Woman |
He was Brujon for a year or two before he became full-time Valjean in 2001. I'm still not sure that stat is correct, though. |

Orestes Fasting |
What about Craig Schulman? JP Dougherty? All those ensemble members who were in the Broadway production for five or seven years straight in the mid-90s?
McCarthy's been in a bunch of different productions, but I don't think he stayed in any of them long enough to set records for number of performances. |

Schulman played Valjean on and off. I believe he has the most performances under his belt. J.P. was with the 3rd NT for God knows how many years (I think from 1990-2001, but not sure).
Do you guys mean Jeff McCarthy? I had no idea he was still involved with Les Mis. I saw him as Javert in the 2nd NT in L.A. 1989. I wish I could see Randal again. <3 |

Ugh, JP Dougherty. I'm glad you posted that, though -- I'm sure Randal holds some kind of record, but it's not what the paper says it is. (This is what happens when I spend the day cleaning out a garage, and then post here.) |

Nah, Michael McCarthy. Orestes is right though--I don't think he stayed with any one production for very long. I believe he holds the record for number of different productions, though. |

Ivan Rutherford might've one-upped him by now with all the regionals he's been participating in. |

One of the breaks is a compound fracture, according to Randal's mailing list.
Ow. |

The Pirate King |
True. But going strictly by Cammack productions, I'd venture to guess McCarthy. |
