Recent Tour

I recently saw les mis in Boston. I was soooo upset with it. I feel like it has become such a spectacle that no one really bothers to even act it anymore... its become only words... it was very very sad for me

Really? Now, some people on the tour (*cough*JoanAlmedilla*cough*) aren't that great in the acting department, but overall I thought it was excellent when I saw it. Randal Keith--the principal Valjean--is particularly impressive. Props also Jennifer Butt and Fabio Polanco as the Thnardiers and Victor Wallace as Enjolras. Even Adam Jacobs... his voice is rather nasal, but his Marius is so cute and dorky that I really missed him when he left the tour after the Boston stop.

I am planning on seeing the tour in July. Joan and Melissa Lyons(Eponine) are the two that I am nervous about how much I am going to like them. Randal was great when I last saw the tour. Norman Large is back as Thenardier, and from what I have heard about him I am looking forward to seeing him. Here is a link to the current cast list.

I haven't seen the tour in two years, but it was awesome when I saw it. Randal Keith is amazing, he's a brilliant Valjean.

Thank you for your incredibly informative post, complete with reasons backing up what you just said.

I saw the tour in April in Cleveland, and enjoyed it overall. It was the second time I missed seeing Randal Keith as Jean Valjean. I saw the understudy, Jason Kraack, who was really good. He did not disappoint and was a very nice person to speak to.

I was also really impressed with Victor Wallace as Enjolras. I enjoyed seeing Trent Blanton again as Grantaire. I'd seen both Joan Almedilla (Fantine) and Melissa Lyons (Eponine) before. While Joan isn't my favorite in the role (I do like her singing), she was a far cry better than the last person I saw in the part. Melissa was enjoyable like my previous time seeing her. Daniel Bogart was convincing as Marius. The children were excellent.

She's not a guest > she has a profile.

I've been registered at this site for some time. I just don't post very often and when I do it's in topics of interest to me.

It's not that. It's that you had no viewable total posts, location or join date, and I hadn't seen that before. (Or rather, its absence.)

I think, or assume, that if you wouldn't fill in your Location and didn't have an avatar, your info would be the same as Mirabelle.

How stange that my location, join date, avatar, etc wasn't being seen. I have such things and have always been able to see them with my posts.
