Song Discussion: Bring Him Home vs. Runaway CartI've been posting so much lately. I probably won't for a while after this because I need to catch up on my schoolwork, but I just had to post now because this subject has been weighing on my mind.
Let's not turn this into another discussion of the characters who sing these songs (in particular, the ones who sing the second one), or about how they work in the context of the show, but just about the songs themselves.
Do any of you think it's possible for a normal human being to like BHH and RC equally well? Even if they don't relate to them both equally well?

I obviously can identify a lot more with the Runaway Cart so for me the choice is easy.

Too right- in modern society today, who hasn't used superhuman strength to save a man from a runaway oxcart? It's a daily occurence for me. All this stuff about longing, religion- where are the oxcarts?
