Swaying from side to side during MOTHDoes anyone do this when you see it in the theatre? I do, a habit I picked up from the TAC and I can't seem to get rid of it... Then when I look around I notice that no one else does it and I quickly force myself to stop swaying.

Hehe I know! And each time MOTH begins (I've seen it 3 times now) I'm looking at the other people and I'm like: "COME ON AND JOIN IN YOU BORING PEOPLE!!!"

I don't sway my whole body, but certainly my head kinda bobs back and forth. It's so fun and contagious it's hard to contain.

When I was little, I used to see my sister sitting on the floor, Indian style, rocking sideways almost violently while she listened to music. She had ADHD and couldn't sit still, but I thought that was how you were SUPPOSED to listen to music.
To this very day I can't listen to music--ANY music--unless at least one part of my body is moving, and if it's not at a live show or playing in the background, I have to be walking or rocking on the floor.

Three words: SO DO I.
I sway to MOTH, I often sing MOTH while walking in the street... There's something special in this song.

It's the only happy song in the show, hehehe

Sometimes it seems like it was cut off another, more happy musical and put into Les Miz just to make the general atmosphere not so mournful I think Les Miz needed such a song

I don't sway in MotH, but I have been known to either headbang or conduct along during One Day More.
...of course, I've also been known to headbang to Bach fugues, so it's rather a moot point.
