You will find it in any decent bookshop in your country. And translated into dutch.
I don't really get it, why do you want to buy a french book in english? Shocked Shocked

I want to buy it in English, cos I can not understand French at all! Though it doesn't matter if it's in English, my English is good enough to get it Smile
But we got no decent bookstores in my country! They only sell the abridged version! Sad
Any idea? Some online shop or so?

No decent bookshops in the Netherlands? I'm sorry, but when I've been to your country I've seen plenty of nice bookshops everywhere.
OK, maybe finding the Brick in english is not that easy... but I mean, is kind of normal, the same way you won't find any dutch translations in London...
I still don't get it. Why don't you buy it in your own language?
Seriously. Why on earth to you want to read it in a language that is foreign to you?
You'll be able to appreciate it much better in dutch.

Does it exist in Dutch? I'm having such a hard time to find it in English...! But if you know anything, please tell me!!! As I said before, there are cool bookstores, but they only sell abridged versions! Sad

www.amazon.co.uk
It'll cost about 5 (6 Euros) off the top of my head.

Per volume or so? You're not talking about abridged version are you? Very Happy
Anyway that would be perfect, since i'm having family in London and I'm going there to see Les Mis soon!
Please let me know, I want to be sure to buy the right version, so not an abridged please!
Thanks!

Yeah, Amazon is probably best. Amazon.co.uk, or Amazon.de if you prefer German (this translation, at 1760 pages, is almost certainly not abridged). There are a few threads on the English translations floating around the forum, so you can choose from among those. I recommend this edition, which is less archaic than Charles Wilbour's translation.

You could also try ebay.nl for a Dutch version...

Edit: And to clarify--while the book was split by Hugo into five 'tomes,' publishers often put two or three of them in a single volume, or even all five together. So unless the volumes say 'Vol. 1 Fantine, Vol. 2 Cosette,' etc., there might be less than five of them. The ones I linked to contain all five tomes in one book.
